Our properties extend throughout Broomhall, Broomhill, Crookes, Crookesmoor, Hunters Bar and Ecclesall and are all within a short walk or commute of the main University buildings.
As with many locations that have a high concentration of students, local amenities are important. The areas where PC Properties have chosen to offer student accommodation, whilst close to university campuses, are also generally well served with local amenities – shops, banks, takeaways, pubs and restaurants, making them perfect for student life. They are also close enough to Sheffield City Centre – cosmopolitan with a South Yorkshire twist – where there are plenty of shops, galleries, theatres, clubs and bars to entertain and cater for all.
PC Properties own large houses for shared occupancy and house sharing and all of our student accommodation is well presented, well maintained and comes with free Wi-Fi in rooms as part of the rental agreement. We can also offer a “bills included” rental agreement (subject to fair usage policy) if required.

Broomhill provides an ideal location for any Sheffield student properties, being also the location of halls of residence for many Sheffield University students. It is close to both Sheffield University and Hallam and offers resident’s great shopping opportunities along Fulwood Road.
Broomhill also has plenty of eateries, takeaways and pubs on hand, and has long been a popular area for Sheffield students to spend their leisure time, when not in the nearby Sheffield city centre.
Broomhall is the location of many of Sheffield Hallam University’s buildings and is ideally situated for the extensive range of shops, restaurants and bars along Ecclesall Road - being also only a short walk away from Sheffield city centre.
Crookes is within walking distance of Sheffield University and an ideal location for students wanting a more traditional residential setting for their student house. It is well served for friendly local shops, supermarkets, local pubs and takeaways and benefits from being relatively close to Rivelin Valley which takes you out to the Peak District in Derbyshire – great for cycling and other outdoor pursuits!
Crookesmoor is located between Crookes and Broomhall and is very popular for student accommodation, being relatively close to both main campuses. It benefits from being close to all local amenities.
Hunters Bar, situated at the top of the bustling Ecclesall Road, is ideally positioned to utilise extensive local amenities, shops and bars, as well as nestling near to Endcliffe Park - great for summer relaxation - and a short distance from the city centre.
Ecclesall, rising up from Hunters Bar and Ecclesall Road, is the furthest from the Sheffield University campuses but is still well situated to provide excellent Sheffield student housing, with good local amenities, frequent local transport, and easy access to Sheffield city centre.
The city of Sheffield offers so much for students when they come to study in the city. It can boast great shopping, cultural venues, sporting opportunities and some fabulous countryside on its doorstep. Its myriad of pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants Sheffield can also offer a student plenty of nightlife to enjoy outside of their college hours.
